Movement
Fast Shutter Speed:
I used 1/800, ISO was 6400, and WB was fluorescent. The action frozen was the toy spinning down the track. The distance is close, where you can see the toy clearly and the point of view is straight on. The dark colors of my scarf and pants as well as the TV brings out the toy and adds a lot of contrast to the image as well as a balance of positive and negative space.
Slow Shutter Speed:
I used 1/6, ISO was 100, and WB was fluorescent. The toy and my hand shows blur because they were moving. The distance was close where you could see the toy moving. The balance between positive and negative space add depth and contrast to the image and the darkness of the scarf shows the motion the the toy even more because it has the contrast.

Painting with Light
The shutter speed used was 5 seconds, The light source used was the purple string of lights. We took the string of lights and just swung them around. The photo kinda looks like a ball of string or pulled sugar, the photo makes me feel awake.
Aperture
Shallow Depth Of Field:
The f-stop was set on 3.3 to focus on the little people in the background. The ISO was set on 250 and the white balance was set on incandescent. I used soft shoot in order to capture and choose which would be in focus.
Large Depth Of Field:
The f-stop was set on 36 to focus on everything. The ISO was set on 400 and the white balance was florescent 2.
The photo with the shallow depth of field is better because having that blur in the front frames the people in the back making them easier to focus on. It's also a more interesting way of looking at the photo itself.
You would want to use a shallow depth of field when trying to frame something specific.
You would use a large depth pf field when you want to get the big picture and get everything.
